Attention: Angela McCown, Director of Victim Services
consider the everlasting anguish of the families of the
victims of Mr. Ricky Carterís reckless, drunken behavior in
the collision that cost four young lives and left our
community utterly devastated, when he is considered for
fact that he can continue to live is enough of an insult to
us, let alone his ability to apply for an early parole each
and every year of his miserable existence. My wife and I
lost our only daughter to the same kind of driver, leaving
us without our child and her three small children to raise.
We share the grief of these girlsí families, and consider a
20 year sentence for his actions to be very minimal. This
being the case, we implore you to see to it that Ricky
Carter serves every minute of his too lenient
very frank with you, if it were my daughter he killed, he
would be much safer where he is. I canít speak for the
families of the young girls he murdered (yes that is the
correct word for his offence) but you might just reflect on
the possibility that some of them may feel the way I do.
Carter is an habitual drunk and will surely kill someone
else while in a drunken stupor if and when he is released
from jail. That should not be in the near future.
consider my opinion and others when considering this evil
entityís release back into our community.
